First things first, the getting ready spaces

These spaces are simple, moody, and perfect for you to enjoy getting ready with your people. The girls suite offers multiple stations to get your hair and makeup done, along with couches and additional seating to enjoy some food and time together. The boys suite is a nice chill space with everything you need. Seating, a TV, and space to relax while getting ready for the big moment. Also, their is a bathroom conveniently close to both suites.

First Look & Couple’s Photos

Their are multiple locations to enjoy the first look between the two of you, along with your portraits! The ceremony space, the balcony, outside the Wintergarden, the rooftop of the parking garage right next door, the stairwell. So many opportunities! They are truly endless which makes receiving the photos of the two of you so uniquely special.

The Ceremony Space

What makes this venue also unique and versatile are the multiple locations to have your ceremony. Personally, I would choose the Atrium. The tall glass windows, stunning light that flows in, and the open feel with the trees right in the space make it an experience of its own. I also love how the bride walks down the long aisle for everyone to slowly take in that moment together.

The Cocktail Hour Space

The cocktail hour is in its own space with stunning views. You are able to enjoy a cocktail and food while overlooking the atrium to see where the party will happen. You can enjoy conversations with plenty of room and seating both inside and outside on the balcony.

The Reception Space

Ready to celebrate with all of your loved ones? The Atrium allows for you to enjoy some incredible food, a big open dance floor, a convenient walk to nearby bathrooms and the bar, and plenty of space to have the best night of your life. Not convinced? See the photos below as proof.

A Few Words from The Lead Coordinator

The Wintergarden is a beautiful glass enclosed atrium full of live trees, greenery and natural light. The trees are strung with the most beautiful twinkle lights, creating the perfect ambiance for a romantic evening. The atrium provides an outdoor feeling without worrying about Rochester’s weather on any given day. While we experience the seasons, the atrium stays green all year long. 

I’ve been with the Wintergarden since we started in 2016. I’ve had the honor of taking part in hundreds of weddings over the years and my favorite part will always be a room reveal with our couple. There is something so special about seeing a vision come to life after months and months of planning. Those moments just before guests walk into the reception space – the room is still, the candles are lit and the sun is setting overhead. It gives me chills every single time. 

The Wintergarden is a one-stop-shop venue. We offer our couples everything from food and beverage to decor enhancements and on-site venue coordination. It truly takes the stress out of planning. 

The Wintergarden is a large scale venue that can accommodate up to 600 people (cocktail style) or 450 seated with space for a dance floor. We also host smaller events. While the space is large, we have many tips and tricks that make an event of 100 people feel intimate. We also have a lot of flexibility to customize or mix and match packages. We truly try to work with everyone and tailor packages to each client.

Commonly Asked Questions

Do you have bridal suites? 

Yes, we have both a bridal suite and a grooms’ suite. These spaces are available starting at 10 a.m. Our couples have access for the duration of their event. 

Do you have on-site parking? 

There is a paid parking garage directly across from the venue. There is an underground tunnel that connects to our building which is super helpful when the weather doesn’t cooperate with us. Many clients also hire valet service. We always recommend Premier Parking!

How does the venue sound? 

Great question! With a band or DJ, we require everyone to tie into our house sound system. With the height of the ceilings and all of the glass, it’s definitely a challenge. However, once plugged in, the sound is nearly perfect, given that the building owners invested significant time and money into the BOSE sound system. I highly recommend using a vendor that is familiar with our venue so you get the best experience.

I mean the space speaks for itself, it’s naturally stunning. Beyond that, the Wintergarden delivers exceptional service and food quality. We are a one stop shop kind of venue, one that checks almost all the boxes with the exception of outside vendors (ie. DJ, band, photographer, etc).
