Have a few questions before reaching out? You're in the right place. Here's everything you might want to know about working with TPI Photography, a Rochester NY wedding, family, and branding photographer serving Rochester, Buffalo, the Finger Lakes, and Western New York.
TPI Photography offers wedding photography, family and lifestyle photography, and professional headshots and branding photography for small businesses. Each service is built around the same goal: capturing real moments with intention and care.
I'm a wedding photographer serving Rochester, Buffalo, and the Finger Lakes, plus the surrounding Western New York area. I'm also open to travel beyond that for the right fit.
Yes! While weddings are my primary focus, I also photograph engagement sessions, family sessions, and smaller life moments. If you're not sure your event fits, just reach out and ask.

My style is timeless, with natural skin tones and colors that stay true to how your day actually looked. I'm a mix of documentary, candid, and editorial, capturing real moments as they happen.
My editing stays true to color. I don’t follow trends or use heavy filters. I want your photos to look like your wedding day!
Absolutely. I'm happy to share full wedding galleries, not just the curated highlights, so you can see exactly what a full day of coverage actually looks like before you book. Just ask and I'll send a few over.
A mix of both. I learn who you are as a couple or family first, then blend documentary and candid moments with some light, natural direction when it's helpful and necessary, never anything stiff or overly posed.
Wedding clients typically book 9 to 18 months in advance, especially for popular dates and wedding venues across Rochester, Buffalo, and the Finger Lakes. That said, I always recommend reaching out even if your date is sooner. You never know what might be available.
After you reach out, we'll hop on a quick call or exchange a few messages to make sure we're a good fit. Once you're ready to move forward, I'll send over a contract and require a retainer to officially hold your date.
Yes. A signed contract protects both of us and makes sure everyone is clear on what to expect.
Yes, a retainer is required to secure your date for a wedding. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before your wedding day. For sessions, the full payment is due at booking for mini sessions and 2 days prior to your session for newborn photography, maternity photography, and branding photography.
Yes! I carry full photography insurance, and if your venue requires a certificate of insurance (COI), I'll provide it as soon as it's requested.
Yes. I have a network of trusted photographers I can call on in the rare event of an emergency, so your wedding day is covered. For sessions, if needed, we will reschedule.
I've built strong working relationships with venues across Rochester, Buffalo, and the Finger Lakes. I am currently a preferred vendor at Arbor Midtown, Arbor Loft, Arbor at the Port, The Jackrabbit Club, Ravenwood Golf Club, The Wintergarden, Pomona at Blue Barn, Deerfield Country Club, The Venue at Atwater, Seneca Ridge, Harro East Ballroom, The Ballroom at Carey Lake, and the Ballroom at Windward.
This varies depending on your session or wedding coverage, but you'll always receive a full gallery that tells the real story of your day, not just a small handful of highlights. For weddings, you will receive close to 100 images per hour booked and for sessions, at minimum 20 images.
No need to worry. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll find a reschedule date that works for both of us, or pivot to a backup plan on the day itself.
Yes! Your online gallery includes full rights to download and print your images however you'd like, and I also offer additional high-quality print and album options if you'd prefer a more guided experience.
Yes, your gallery comes with full personal rights, so you're free to share and post your images wherever you'd like.
I may feature select images from your session or wedding on my website, social media, or portfolio to showcase my work. If you'd ever prefer your images stay private, just let me know and we can talk through it.
About 60 to 65% of the weddings I photograph include a second shooter, so it's a good mix of both. A second photographer can be added to any wedding package for full day coverage, capturing extra angles and perspectives throughout your day.
